This three-part docudrama, co-presented and co-written by Suzannah and Dan Jones, and starring Lily Cole and Felicity Dean as the queen, explores the rise and reign of Elizabeth I.
The series explores Elizabeth I and her enemies. It begins by examining the evidence of whether Thomas Seymour sexually abused the teenage Princess Elizabeth, the battle with Philip II’s Spanish Armada, and the attempted coup by the Earl of Essex in Elizabeth’s final years.
